| Yellow
Mountain -- A Marvel of Natural
Beauty
Located
in the southern part of Anhui Province,
the Yellow Mountains are a marvel:
within an area of 70 square miles
there are 72 peaks. When it is cloudy
the pinnacles loom in mists as if
they were illusionary, while the
sun is shining they unfold in all
their majesty and splendor. The
Yellow Mountains change their color
and appearance with the alternation
of seasons. Especially, in autumn
it was dressed in red and purple
as maples are all blazing |
 |
red. Time after time, the yellow
mountain are made famous by
four major attractions – the fantastic
pines, the majestic rocks, the sea
of clouds and the hot springs. The
yellow Mountains also provide the
natural habitat for a wide variety
of fauna. Among the animals there
are monkeys, goats, deer, and rare
birds. The temperature in Yellow
Mountains is pleasurable all the
year round. As clouds often shut
out the sun, hot weather never stays
long, and this makes Yellow Mountains
an ideal summer resort. Do not miss
out this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
and come out to join us in the year
of 2004.

Hangzhou, as the capital
city of Zhejiang Province, is a

of Silk". Its history can be

20
famous dishes, such as West Lake
Sweet and Sour Fish, Dongpo Pork,
Dragon Well Shrimps and etc. Lying
on the west edge of the city, West
Lake is the symbol of Hangzhou city
as well as one of the most beautiful
sights in China. It has captivated
countless visitors for centuries.
Legend has it that West Lake was
originally a jewel fallen from heaven.
Scientists call it a lagoon formed
as a result of natural changes and
human efforts. In a lingering charm
lies the beauty of the West Lake
that survives the change of seasons
throughout a year and of hours in
a day. Relax here, boat on the West
Lake and pamper yourself with the
Chinese wine... It is something
you will never forget. |
