Veterinary Herbal Medicine Program
(Offered ON-SITE and ON-LINE)
Schedule and Tuition
This program is presented in 5 modules over a period of one year, a total of 165 C.E. hours approved by many states. Each module features tongue and pulse diagnosis, real case studies (5-hour wet lab), a TCVM approach to Western diseases, herbal medicine and advanced TCVM theories. Every on-site module starts on Thursday morning and ends on Sunday noon (3.5 days). This program is also available online.

*Tuition:
  $750 includes the class handout binder and herbal sample kit in mail for on-line students.
  -$50 if not willing to receive the class handout binder in mail for on-line students;
  -$50 if not willing to receive the class herbal sample kit in mail for on-line students;

Fees and Prerequisites:

Application Fee: $100; (for new students only) 
Introduction to Veterinary Herbal Medicine DVD: $100 (for students new to herbal medicine only)
TCVM Fundamental Principles DVD: $100 (for students new to TCVM only)
Case reports review and Certification:$ 250;

Minimum Total Cost for the Final Certificate:  $3500 (if taking all modules on-line)

  • On-line study period is automatically extended if registering more than one on-line classes. Including 4-month on-line library: review previously taken on-line classes as needed.
  • Save $200 if registering and paying tuition for all five modules (ON-LINE/ON-SITE) in full in advance.
  • A 50% discount on the tuition is offered for those who already took the same module (ON-LINE/ON-SITE) at the Chi Institute before.
  • A module of Introduction to Chinese Herbal Medicines is required for those who have not taken any Chinese herbal courses before. This module is offered by DVD. The student must watch and study all 5 lectures on the DVD provided before the regular module of the herbology program.
  • The full payment for the tuition of each onsite class is due by 30 days, according to the postmark of the payment letter, before the beginning of corresponding module. Please send the payment letter earlier to avoid extra charge.
  • A $50 late fee will be charged if the payment is made within 1-30 days, according to the payment reception by the Chi Institute, before the beginning of corresponding session.
  • A $100 onsite registration fee will be charged if the student pays the tuition on site.

    On-site Class Agenda
  • Each onsite module will start on Thursday morning and end on Sunday 12:30PM.
  • The lectures are presented in hotel conference room facilities. The Wet Lab demonstrations are conducted at our 14-acre horse farm (Chi-Institute).
  • In order to ensure that students understand the course materials, a take home exam will be provided after every module.
