Evidence Based Veterinary Acupuncture On-line Course
(27 CE Hrs approved by RACE)
Chi Institute is pleased to offer this RACE approved new online course that has been submitted for 27 hours of Continuing Education Credits.
The objectives of this course
  • the scientific basis of acupuncture and the available clinical research on this topic
  • how to apply acupuncture in general practice for neurological, gastrointestinal, renal and respiratory disorders in small animals and horses and for lameness, laminitis and navicular diseases in horses
  • the principles of acupuncture in pain management and trigger points clinical application
  • how to integrate acupuncture in a conventional practice, cookbook of points
  • the indications and contraindications of acupuncture

The program consists of 27 hours of online streaming video lectures and the final quiz (post-test). The video lectures include screenshots of the slides, speakers’ audio and video, speaker’s handwritten notes on screen. Participants will be provided with an electronic copy of proceedings (printed copy may be requested for a fee), consisting of approximately 150 pages of reading material. 

At the end of the program, participants must complete a 117 question multiple choice quiz. As per the RACE Standards, participants must pass the quiz with a score of 70% or better in order to receive their certificate of attendance. Attendance will be measured by the time spent watching lectures online which is recorded in our distance learning platform.
