    4. The course is a 165 C.E. hour (FL State approved) program, divided into five modules. You can start from any one of the five modules without regard to sequence.  Upon completion of all five modules and the submission of three case studies, you will receive a Certificate of Veterinary Herbology from the Chi Institute and China National Society of TCVM.

Why Should I Take This Program?
    1. Herbal Medicine is an essential part of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). In China, TCVM treatment consists of 30% acupuncture and 70% Chinese herbal medicine.   Chinese herbal medicine has a rich history extending over several thousands of years and has proven to be an effective treatment modality.  If you would like to improve your TCVM results, do more for your patients and obtain a deeper knowledge of TCVM, then this series of herbal courses (5 modules) is right for you.
    2. The Chi Institute’s herbal program is NOT only about the herbal medicine, but also provide you with a much deeper understanding of TCVM principles and diagnostics.
    3. Each module of the on-site live course contains a 5-hour web lab, supervised by lab assistants that are experienced in utilizing Chinese herbal medicine, which will enable you to enhance your TCVM diagnostic skills while also becoming more familiar with Chinese herbal medicine.
    4. The course speakers are top TCVM experts including Dr. Xie.
    5. Enrollment in each module includes free phone or e-mail consultation with Dr. Xie or his associates for 1 year.
    6. Attending the live modules gives you the opportunity to ask the instructors questions and obtain immediate feedback.  Additionally, the in-class discussions are enhanced by the other TCVM practitioners from around the world that are in attendance.
    7. This program allows you to select each section in the order that you want, so you may start with and progress to the next section according to your own preferences and needs.  For example, if you want to improve your knowledge of using Chinese herbal medicine in geriatric patients, the Kidney/Geriatric/ Urinary/ Reproductive Module would be the best choice for you to start with.  You may complete the course within 1 calendar year or as many years as you would like.
    8. This program is offered both onsite and online.

    Who Should Take This Program?

Veterinary acupuncturists or veterinarians with an interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine should take this program.  Whether you are already an experienced acupuncturist or are just starting to practice TCVM, this program provides the next step in furthering your TCVM diagnostic skills and improving your results.
