| Small Animal Acupuncture Program Outline |

This 130-hour C.E. program (RACE/State approved) is presented in 4 sessions over a period of 6 months. Offered only to licensed veterinarians. Students will learn acupuncture points only on small animals. Primarily dogs are used for practice in the wet labs (some avian is also included). West coast small animal practitioners may also consider the West Coast Veterinary Acupuncture Program. Both programs have similar content but different schedule and location.

Program Features |
- Limited seats, small lab group (5-6 members with one TA in a group), more hands-on learning in the wet lab.
- Learn from the Master, Dr. huisheng Xie, ("The leading authority in the animal acupuncture.", quoted from CBS News Early Show, Dec 28th, 2005). Dr. Xie's twenty-three years of TCVM teaching experience (over 3000 students) has provided him with a clear vision of how to aid a student.
- 130 C.E. hours (RACE/State approved).
- Free case consultation with TCVM experts for all students.
- Awarded the Certificate of Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist registered at the Chi Institute and the China National Society of TCVM after fulfilling all requirements.
- Practicality is highly emphasized during the
entire program. The goal of each session is:
• Session 1: Practice on own animals (cook book)
• Session 2: Practice on client patients
• Session 3: More efficiently practice acupuncture
• Session 4: Daily integration of acupuncture
- Balanced Learning Environments: Qi-gong or Tai-ji practice at the start of each day.
