| West Coast Veterinary Acupuncture Program Outline |
 |
|
|
| The Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine, located in Reddick, Florida, USA has been training licensed veterinarians in both basic and advanced Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) skills since 1998. In 2007, in response to many requests by West Coast veterinarians, we launched our first basic acupuncture training in Sacramento, California in order to bring this work to veterinarians who were eager to learn it, but unable to travel across

country to attend all the sessions required. We restructured the format so that we could deliver the same curriculum at the same high quality level, with only one trip to Florida required for the graduation session. Students will learn acupuncture points on both small and large animals. The program includes 40 hours lab (30%). A lab instructor with a lab animal is assigned to each group, usually 4-5 students per group for S.A. lab and 5-6 students for Equine lab, to provide each student individual attention and more hands-on experience. This well-designed class is coming to you. We hope that you will enjoy this great opportunity.

Student Feedbacks:
“Excellent program. Chi Institute treats students like family and that’s what we love plus very practical-oriented. You give us confidence to get started.
As always, an unbelievable class, wonderful, helpful, informative in a very nice location with great instructors! (The labs were especially well organized + a great learning environment). The teamwork shows from the classes to the labs to the herbal/acupuncture store to the snacks + family dinner on Friday! The perfect way to learn, we thank you!”
Maureen Loughlin, DVM – West Coast Veterinary Acupuncture, Session 1, April, 2007.
“Thank you so much for offering these California sessions. I have wanted to incorporate acupuncture in my practice for 10 yearsbut couldn’t take the time away from my busy practice. I know if I study really hard, I will provide every patient better care by utilizing the valuable knowledge and techniques taught to me in your classes.”
Lynda Zucca, DVM – West Coast Veterinary Acupuncture, Session 1, April, 2007.
