The Chi Institute has received approval from Marion county to expand its main facilities in Reddick, Florida.  Two buildings totaling 14,000 square feet are the main features of the approved expansion proposal. Floor plans and architectural designs are still being finalized for these new buildings, but they are slated to include a 160-seat auditorium, a TCVM library and study area, a new lobby, and new clinic and lab spaces.  Dr. Huisheng Xie and his wife Yanru Zhao, who serve as president and vice president of the Chi Institute say they are thrilled about these upcoming developments.  "We believe that these new buildings will give our students and faculty a even greater experience when they visit our campus," says Dr. Xie. "We want to give them all the resources they need and more, and we believe these new facilities can provide that."  Construction is set to begin by the end of 2013, and the new facilities are scheduled to open in the fall of 2014.
