WHAT'S NEW

This edition is an updated and expanded version of its first edition published in 2002, which has been the required textbook of many veterinary acupuncture training programs in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia. The main goal for this edition was to address students’ and readers’ needs by making complicated TCVM concepts easier to understand.

Greyhound Pets of America (GPA) Senior Sanctuary of Florida is a greyhound rescue group with a base in Maitland, Florida and a foster network that extends Central and South Florida. GPA Senior Sanctuary is committed to matching senior greyhounds (over the age of seven) to suitable families, and placed 19 rescued greyhounds into new forever homes in the last year alone. They have volunteered their greyhounds for Chi acupuncture wet labs for the past seven years.

Major Chi Campus Expansion Approved

New Chi facilities to include a 160-seat auditorium, new lab and clinic spaces, and a TCVM library - By Sherrie Xie

The Chi Institute has received approval from Marion county to expand its main facilities in Reddick, Florida.  Two buildings totaling 14,000 square feet are the main features of the approved expansion proposal. Floor plans and architectural designs are still being finalized for these new buildings, but they are slated to include a 160-seat auditorium, a TCVM library and study area, a new lobby, and new clinic and lab spaces.  Dr. Huisheng Xie and his wife Yanru Zhao, who serve as president and vice president of the Chi Institute say they are thrilled about these upcoming developments.
