Each acupuncture program is presented in 4 on-site sessions in Fall class and 5 sessions (2 on-line sessions and 3 on-site sessions) in Spring class over a period of 6 months. Each on-site session is scheduled 3.5 days (Thursday to Sunday). An extra day is added to the final session to accommodate the final written and clinical exams. Three quizzes are given with each scheduled at session 2, 3, 4. After finishing the coursework, students may take a couple of months to complete a case report and a 30-hour internship or advanced TCVM program. However, some students complete the course report and advanced course during the acupuncture training period.
